Haha, it's not as bad as it sounds harlequino - more like an encouragement for people to keep their yard proper, and this weekend was a good idea because they are arranging some kind of BBQ later that night for everyone who wants to join.
The neighborhood is actually an incorporated community (yeah!!), because it also earns a little profit from a small marina connected to the neighborhood, and all residents get a little stake in it. I guess that's how they got everyone's email..
