it's all about being smart with it.
ephedra has been used for thousands of years before some really ignorant people started popping twice the dosage before (insert any sport here) practice on 90+ degree days.
hydroxycut used properly can help you shed some stubborn lbs but shouldn't be used exclusively in place of cardio and a good diet.
what you really should do is go to your local gym and get your rmr (resting metabolic rate) tested. this will tell you how many calories your body burns a day normally.
then have them put you on a treadmill to find your optimum heartrate for burning fat.
once you have those it's simple math to figure out how many calories you should take in per day, if you burn x amount per workout, wanting to lose x amount per week.
since i got that stuff done good lord, losing weight has become so much more simple. it's all simple math.
