Yeah, warranty and three years apple care - BUT - the computer is my business tool and to be honest I can't make any money if I don't have it, and I live 200 or more miles from the nearest apple store.
My conclusion is that build quality is poor - the machine will work, even with warping and poor screen quality. I'll limp along for the next two years and replace with another reliable product then, I guess.
