  Then you tell them what you need to. You let them know what kind of time goes into there project but more importantly what kind of return they will get from a good design. Let them know that the project you are creating for them has to say all the right things to the customer before the company is even approached.

  And I dont think anyone would actually say the choices thing exactly as a I wrote it. As cliche as it sounds its the truth Its just in how you explain it to them.
