    I believe T-Mobile use UMTS (3G) for it's web browsing, O2 will use Edge for the iPhone.

    So thats a no I guess.. Apple picked Edge over 3G because the 3G chip uses too much battery which is bullshit btw.

    I would wait to buy one until Apple pull their head out of the ass and realize 3G is the future (in Europe anyway) and most phone companies already have it up and running.
