Good cop story ...
I have a lot of bad ones, a few good ones. Here's a good one!:
After a wedding, and reception, I was driving to the after party back in the hood. I get pulled over, and not that I was drunk by any stretch of the imagination, I never have drove drunk, but I was 18 and had bottles of champagne in my car and had been doing my fair share of drinking (but I don't really drink at weddings and stuff as I want to make sure I don't do anything stupid), haha.
I was driving without my lights on, which to my credit, with all the streetlights you really don't need them sometimes.
Apparently there was a drive by that happened earlier, and after running plates and taking down information and being cool about everything he let me go with the only warning of, 'Go to your friends house and spread the word that we are patrolling this section heavily and that everyone should probably stay there for the nite.'
I told people there, and basically was just trying to convince this one girl that she had to stay, haha, but no one really believed me until my other friend came in with a 280 ticket for not stopping at a stop sign and given teh same warning.
