    i find that the $100 difference between a "good" board and a cheaper one doesn't really matter - at least it doesnt matter to the rest of us who arent jumping out of helicopters and doing insane stunts.

    i can usually find a nice used board which is just as good as any of the new, more expensive stuff out there - for under $200.

    i would say that if you feel an urge to spend your money, spend it on a good boot, because the better your boot is, the more enjoyable your riding experience will be.
