(Sep 14 07, 15:59)You need:
1) Cable to connect tape deck to computer.
(depends on hardware but you shoukd be able to get it in radioshack, usually stereo phone jack to stereo phonejack )2) a software to record the tape imput. (I would recomend Audacity:http://audacity.sourcef...
its free! but any software capable of recording audio will do)
Steps:
Plug your tape deck output to your computer line in.
Start recording on your software (do a test run to make sure your levels are not all the way to red, its always better to record in low volume than having your signal be recorded with distortion, you can fix low volume later)Now hit play on tape deck, enjoy the music, dance a little, I recommend snacking crackers with manchego cheese, a slice of tomato and maybe some parsley on top.. when you are done, export your tracks as mp3 / aiff / wav, etc just don't do it as wma for respect to the reast of the planet.
good luck buddy!
