Kauai was tough for me at first. When I got there it was soooo damn slow... but I finally got used to it by the 3rd day I was there. It's hard coming from a place that is built on service industry to a place that takes 1.5 hours to eat breakfast because the service is so relaxed and slow. But all that shit paled in comparison to the beauty of the island. Awesome place, I'd love to go back someday.
