Don't know how it caught on fire. Had just driven from London to Oxford and it seemed fine.
Only realised what was happening when the neighbour banged on the door. I was drinking tea with my girlf and her mum (it was her parents house!). But by the time I got out there were 4ft flames lapping out of the bonnet.
I managed to save the company ibook of the back seat (by entering a flaming car!) but couldn't find the Canon XL1. It was tucked under the backseat. Unfortunately it melted to a gloopy mess. There are no pix of it tho 'cause it belonged to work and they might not like me gloryfying the death of their beloved machine.
Oooops!
Got a new car now tho...
