yeah rand im envious that the D3 is 1:1 ccd..thats what really miffs me about the m8. not until their next digital rangefinder will leica be 1:1.
yeah you can manual focus with the slr but its the interface that leads to inspiration, like anything else. not being able to see thru the lens and all that leads me to see things differently than i did with my slr. been shooting w/rangefinders since about 2000, never going back.
