i can see two sides to all of this.
i agree that "its your work, YOU should profit off of what YOU do."
i also agree with open source. i dont believe 'communities' "butcher" and "rape" open source or don't take it to that next level. from fonts to software, PS brushes to .fla files. if we were to buy everything on the internet to create spectacular and dynamic websites, the internet would be pretty boring. not everyone has the money to fork out an extra 80 bucks or the knowledge just to figure out/create an actionscript. but hey, if he's making money off this...all the power to him. if its just for pocket change, then why not make it open source?
