  OK. Yes. Change is chaotic.

  Still, we played a role in that chaos for which we must make amends.
  We have been (and are still) so f*ckin' self righteous - the Spanish Inquisition has nothing on the US.
  The world is watching.
  Our credibility (whatever's left) for the future is on the line and how we handle our own is of the utmost importance.

  I'm not sure Bush and Cheney don't qualify as war criminals. Would we call them that if they were doing this from another country? Probably.

  God, yes. There is much work to be done and I am so ready to get on with that. As long as we PROPERLY close this dismal chapter instead of simply hitting the "pause" button, I'm there.
