strangely I wasn't there when she played in Dublin Mimio, had to go to brother's wedding..
My gf is a fan of hers and I try to surprise her with PJ tourism at times. We saw her last year in the lovely armpit of Wales on a poetry festival and twice this year - Manchester and Barcelona.
All 3 were solo acts with sneak previews from the upcoming album. She's great solo - whether it's the piano, acoustic guitar, cheap organ from a pawn shop or a telecaster with a drum machine. She swaps the instruments moving around the stage every two songs or so. The band is hardly missing.
