being brought up in catholic ireland I have to say that after a while I got frustrated with most of the preists that would, week after week, shout at us and 'put the fear of god into us' for thinking immoral thought about that cute girl in class, and then to see them on the news being charged for child sex abuse.
I have met some great priests tho, with amazing faith and compassion, but they seem to get sent into the country where the powers that be wont have to worry about them.
Nowadays i find it hard to have faith in a religion that refuses to change with the times. Say your own prayers to your own god, and let your neighbour say his. Just dont push it down anyone else throat.
