When I was a kid the reason I hated church (or any authority figure for that matter) was that I didn't like being told what to think, and I didn't like being told what to believe...
I go to church from time to time these days...when I am feeling down, or to pray for those close whom I have loved and lost...it jsut seems to most natural place to do it...I believe in a power...an energy...a 'god' if you will..that governs the world - but I don't think it is a particularly fair or just one.
