WOW.... you actually think people want to be a designer just as bad as an actor or model? That has to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard. If this is true... we might as well kill ourselves.
I think some of the people here are too stuck on the "superstar" designers that everyone loves. You guys make it seem as if anyone really gives a rats ass about designers. Maybe within the community. But outside of the geeks that drive this industry, we are not celebs... maybe blown celebs. but that is about it.
Wow, what's next. A pop star that writes their own music and can actually sing. Yeah, that will happen.
