    when you say reduce the spacing, are you talking about specific spacing between the notes themselves?

    If so, big problem. Here's why: in a score like this, notes are lined up for a reason, every beat lines up vertically. Because of the nature of the rhythms he has written, you need that much space, so the score is legible. If you start to reduce it, it's going to be hard to read.

    Am I understanding correctly?

    *Also, the composer needs to denote that those 3 blocks are individual staff systems. I can see that Trombone 3 and the Tuba play alone for 3 measures upon examination, but it's confusing.
