A red wall is symbolic of good luck in Chinese tradition. I'd go with red.
It's so weird you asked that question. We currently have green and tints of green walls in the house and we were just talking the other night about painting the walls white with a few red ones here and there mixed in.
Go with red. Kinda maroon but with more red in it than blue.
