no problem here, running on osx.
(touches wood)are you on a mac?
you should run the uninstaller, then repair permissions, restart, install repair permissions again (paranoid me? naah)
and run a little free app called macjanitor. no sure if that helps or not, but will be my first choice if facing the same situation)
