She has also recently asked, rather, demanded, that I learn the Snow Patrol song "Chasing Cars" and play/record it for her.
Among the reasons:
1) "I think you really have a good voice for that song."
2) "It would just make me happy."
3) "Don't be difficult, just please do this to make your mother happy."
Instead, I'm going to get naked in the practice space and videotape myself singing Dancing Queen, with our keyboard guy playing the song with the most horrible synth tone we can find in my Micron synth.
