I don't know what to tell you. I wouldn't suggest my name because it is pretty boring...

BUT what it has given me is options. Think about that when you give your baby their name. What will people end up calling them every day. Sometimes shortened versions of the name aren't so hot.
I go by Shellie... it works for me.
Originally my birth given name was Michaella (me-kai-asia) or (me-kai-ella) which sounds different depending on where you're from. It was changed to Michelle in Elementary but I still have the option of going by all 3 names.
I love the flexibility. It really bugs me for work people or aquaintences to even try calling me by anything but the two nicknames (Michelle or Shellie).
