    Yes, I do see ethinc people reflected in the 'Old Media' as either a 'twice as good must be to make it', a rarity, a truly token talent, or a minstrel show's half wit to sing, dance and pull the line for money but never really conceptualize or say anythiing that will challenge outside of specific cadres. Concequently, the range of subject matter for us as ethnic people in America is fucking limited and by what, and whom?
    Marketing statistics? Or just plaiin racism because the "majority' gets depressed, and humans in general, get depressed when they don't see images of themselves.

    Certain people have a vested interest in keeping racism alive and believing in it. Thus on the Sundance Channel you see supposedly preppy white guys making films about how corporate america is sooo disproportionatlely imbalanced. These dudes have their egos exposed as they have a vested intersest in racism being true.
