The dude is alright if all you expect is lightweight comic relief.
The only time he really pisses me off is when he tries to get into political conversations and hasn't done the reading on the subject at hand.
We had arguments about Iraq and shit a few years back and he disagreed with me about being against the war and bought into the entire "war on terror" thing. I never really got over that. Which is my fault I guess. Maybe I shouldnt take the subject so seriously or something. But my opinion of the guy was really formed around that. Now that his opinion is closer in line with what I deem the correct way of thinking, it is strange that there still is beef.
The guy is super-competitive and that is the only thing I can really chalk that up to. I have a bit of that in me too.
There is a reason why I don't enter certain threads, generally it is because I don't know shit about the content of them and have nothing to add.
I guess if it just stayed lightweight it wouldnt bug me.
In life, you learn that there are certain people you just do not bring up politics or religion with because you will never see eye to eye. I guess that is me and Doug.
