i have an allergic reaction to aspartame that stemmed from over use of the product during my childhood. my mother is diabetic as well as hypoglycemic and had flats of diet 'everything' around the house. after starting hallucinate throughout various incidents, i completed some testing which tested positive for aspartame as the cause.
during this nuthouse phase in my life, i discovered that there are many others who show the same symptoms from the same product. Some of the research i had done confirmed all the conspiracy theories about the FDA and its board members who had stakes in the company who patented it. but thats for you to read yourself.
anyways, since being off the chemical for over 10 years, i have not had anymore issues- well related ones anyhow.
ps. and no its not all fun like acid... picture the worst mushroom trip you have ever had, where people 'spook' the hell out of you.. multiply that and you got it
