Things I love: people, restaurants, nightlife, convenience, brooklyn, art, the "buzz", summer and fall, music scene, always being able discover new things, the trends, the fashion, people watching, working here, the excitement, the community vibe of brooklyn, seeking new places to go out, leaving and coming back, spontaneous fun nights out, not having to drive. taxi's are relatively cheap (compared to london)
ok now some of the things are love are the same as what i dont like:
Dislikes:
it's expensive, not having a car, the winter (burrrr), january feb march april. the biggest drawback is that it's expensive but not nearly as much as london.i love new york and i think really if you want to be here that's all that really matters, the rest will work itself out-like getting a job, meeting people (takes time but it happens), and getting an apt. if you're determined it will get you far. it's really a great place to be but it's not for everyone. if you're looking for a huge place and a yard it's not as easy.
