it is felt by a grea majority that having spidey married takes away from the great pain he is supposed to endure...if he has a shoulder to cry on, it makes him weak.
plus comics are only 28 pages, and who the hell wants to read a book about his wife when he could be fighting Venom or Reptile or the new Villians about to be created.
having a love interest in the books makes for less story content and brings the character development down.
also with the storyarc of One More Day which will change the spider forever meaning they are going back to basics as well, getting rid of aunt may as well...getting rid of the Organic webbing and going back to web shooters and spidey being a scifi nerd...more action and less redheads makes for a better spider-man book!!
