Sounds like you're already going to address the type. Lloyd's idea of nixing the images is pretty good. They look more like bad clip art than product specific photography.
My main concern is the color scheme, which i'm not fond of. It comes up as teal and pink on my macbook pro. I would move to an analogous color swing with a contrast for accent or type.
