    I've always dated non-designers to avoid this issue, but i guess it's really not that big of a deal, plus half the stuff i release sucks anyways because some asshole client X'ed all the good ideas and directed the project to their personal likings. (ahh vent)

    I guess I was just worried about her asking me what i thought. But if I don't have anything nice to say I'll just keep quiet

    Everything I could say has been said above...except if the work you end up proceeding usually sucks, it's probably your fault and not the client. Being able to present/explain your work is just as important as creative talent.
