    We went to Thailand and it was amazing. You get out of this world beaches and diving (koa tao), crazy city (bangkok/chiangmai), ruins(ayuttaya), mountains (chaingmai/chiangdoa), great food, incredible massage...the whole lot. And super cheap. Others I'd recommend for off-tourist season places... Spain, Australia, Japan, Argentina, Peru. Hawaii is a great place, just so over-done. It's nice to have some adventure thrown in.
