Sure a cease and desist letter would have been fine, even charging what the image would have cost would be appropriate too.
Where do they get 7k from, they just decide you owe them 7k as a penalty?
I would get soem legal help and go to court on principle. They will lose more than 7k in the bad publicity this david vs goliath story would create in the press. I wont use them any more retards.
