I introduced some Basque friends to the '-tard' suffix school of swearing, which comprises much of my day to day under-my-breath swearing.
fucktard, halftard, cunttard, hommertard, kelptotard, frigitard, multitard, megatard, etc etc.
They loved them all. Until, that is, I made the mistake of personalising the swearing for the audience and told them of 'basquetard'.
