You could ask that of any living animal, including humans.
Maybe a cockroach would think it's worse to murder another cockroach than a human. We put different emotional values on things within our own reality. I like dogs, I have dogs, they're part of my reality. Dobs doesn't have a dog, doesn't care about dogs, at least not nearly as much as he cares about human life so - they're not part of his reality. Insects aren't part of my reality.
