I just read the rest of this thread and there are few things that bother me, so I'm air em out like Ron Mexico's herpes:
• Animals aren't human- absolutely not, but humans are animals. Regardless of arguments like "but we reason" or "evolution is bullshit", we are biological animals. Therefore, pain is fairly universal across the board for mammals. To encourage primal violence amongst breeds that should be domesticated is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I love a cheeseburger and probably own a pair of leather shoes or two, and maybe I'm just being a hopeless romantic by hoping that these animals are being put to rest in a humane way, but when shit like this gets exposed it disgusts me that these fuckin hacks are even breathing.
• People who fight dogs - are pieces of shit. You want to fight, get in the fucking ring and earn your own money you worthless slab of fat.
• Pit Bulls - are victims of circumstance. If people would leave these dogs alone, give them a fucking century of good breeding and proper training and let them be the domestic animal that they have all the potential to be we would have another beautiful companion in this world. Bulldogs used to be that same thing, a fighting dog, but the breed was tamed down. Several years ago I read about how poodles bite more people than any other breed, but we all know what that's worth.
