well in this movie origins were changed...
in the comics and the cartoons and the japanese versions...
the autobots were created to be the workers, the slaves, the entertainment for the decepticons.
megatron was created by the constructicons to lead the decepticons in the great war against the autobots.
though the changes in the origins in this movie open many new paths and possibilities as the greatest new twist was added by taking away Ultra Magnus as Optimus Prime's brother and replaced him with Megatron as OP's lil or older bro...
