  I'm Australian but have been living in London for 5 years and am slowly coming round to the English attitude toward sport.

  • The English prefer personality over talent
  • They are really pessimistic about their sporting chances, but if they win anything, or even get a sniff at it, suddenly they are the best in world history
  • The media hypes all sporting chances so much that you want them to lose just so the papers will shut up
