Some "johnny no stars" at Pret-a-manger made me a coffee and gave me a plain croissant.
I prononced 'croissant' with a slight french inflection, thereby giving across the impression I was well travelled, educated and perhaps spoke a foreign language.
With my man-bag and beaten up converse all stars, I must have looked the right 'man about town'.
