If they don't accept beer, then they're satanists, plain and simple.
Only satanists turn down free beer after a hard days work. If they turn it down they're probably going home to submerge themselves in coffins filled with lamb blood.
The only person at that point to blame is yourself: you need to improve your day-laborer-may-or-may-not
