assassination isn't humorous and it disgraces those who think so. Killing Caesar only made things worse faster by even more craven men.
There are very real constitutional issues under very real strain. History doesn't guarantee the republic will survive.
For my money that the opposition party is bankrolling at least three candidates who are symbolically the antithesis to the power as it has been held since wwii is encouraging.
