yeah, there are no direct machine-to-fax services over broadband i have ever found. now, there are service that will relay if for you, but nothing direct w/o an account.
i serched for this forever like a year ago and found jack shit.
i have gotten the native fax service of OS X to work, but it *absolutely* requires a modem, and CAT3 line to do it. if you have those, it really works fantastic. better than any system i have seen.
