    You don't get it Pionist. With all the hype that surrounded PS3, the crap Sony was talking about it, the promises, NOTHING was delivered. We bought a game console that serves exclusively now for playing Blu-Ray movies for me.

    You see, I wanted games, not to watch movies. I already had dedicated setup for movies. But no, when did PS3 come out and we still don't have 2-3 games that worth playing. Don't forget, the games that exist now on XBox 360 are rough ports to PS3 and they simply suck. They suck because they are just that, ports. They were made for X360 and now just tried to be adopted on PS3 but with a lot of sacrifices. Read about FEAR game. On XBox 360 is pretty good, on PS3 it's awful. And I'm not talking graphics.

    I don't want to wait another couple of months, I've had PS3 for a while now (it's been 6+ months) and the console has been out since November 2006 and we have NOTHING for it. This is ridiculous, especially when you pay $600 for it.

    Okay, so end of year will come and we will get a few more games for PS3, Lair and probably Heavenly Sword. Of course Warhawk looks interesting but I'm not super impressed to be honest. Uncharted-Drake might be a cool game, but as far as I see now they completely lied on how the game should look like. Compare the footage they showed on E3 and how the game looks like now and you'll see. To be honest, I just think that overall game looks very plastic, but we'll see. And this is about it. The last game that's exciting for PS3 will be Haze (which they hope will be Halo killer, but I highly doubt it). So okay, 5 games in a year. Wow. You do realize that all publishers prefer X360 platform despite the fact that every PS3 has a hard drive. This is now completely useless to them as their primary audience is the X360 crowd. PS3 titles will continue to be ports. It's economics, not personal preference for these guys.

    In the end, what I'm trying to tell you is that by 2008, I will maybe have 10 games in total to play on PS3. That are worth something. Damn, that's BAD, so you used PS3 as a piece of furniture for almost 2 years to play 10 games on it.

    I don't care about Xbox360 being on the market longer, it's their good business approach and the fact that their gaming platform was done and thought out properly much sooner. What I care about is the $600 I paid to watch 5 Blu-Ray movies I have and do Folding@Home. And whole 10-15 games I'll have within 2 years of console's existence. Wow, what an experience and money well spent. Now let's take a look at X360 upcoming titles WOW. Now there's something to look forward to and they look absolutely STUNNING.

    You can try to comfort yourself that PS3 is doing well but frankly it's not and this is why I'm pissed. Despite the 3 mill. units sold worldwide, it's by far the worst selling console of all. And let's be honest here, X360 launched with a lot more titles, they werent super next-gen but they did look impressive nonetheless.

    Here I'll give you the list for X360 of launch titles and titles they came out around a month AFTER the launch if you seem to have forgotten:

    Amped 3 (2K Games)
    Call of Duty 2 (Activision)
    Condemned (Sega)
    Dead Or Alive 4 (Tecmo)
    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Final Fantasy XI
    Full Auto (Sega)
    Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft)
    Gun (Activision)
    Kameo: Elements of Power
    Madden NFL 06 (EA)
    NBA 2K6 (2K Games)
    NHL 2K6 (2K Games)
    The Outfit (THQ)
    Perfect Dark LE (Microsoft)
    Project Gotham Racing 3
    Quake 4 (Activision)
    Ridge Racer 6 (Namco)
    Saints Row (THQ)
    Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (Activision)
    Top Spin 2 (2K Games)
    Burnout Revenge
    FIFA Soccer 06
    Peter Jackson's King Kong
    NBA Live 06
    Need For Speed Most Wanted
    Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06

    Here's what you had for launch on PS3.

    * Call of Duty 3
    * Genji 2: Days of the Blade
    * Madden NFL 2007
    * Marvel Ultimate Alliance
    * Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
    * NBA ‘07
    * NBA 2k7
    * NHL 2k7
    * Resistance: Fall of Man
    * Ridge Racer 7
    * Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
    * Tony Hawk’s Project 8
    * Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom

    of course these were available on X360 prior to PS3 launch btw.

    All of these received 6-7 review scores on most sites, meaning they MOSTLY sucked!

    I follow this crap, and even though I might not actually sell my PS3 (I still need it for some exlusive Blu-ray titles), I think it's a flop and that people will mostly get dissapointed when compared to X360. PS3 tries to be a jack of all trades and is not doing one of them correctly.
