Royalty Free can cost anywhere between £50-£400 these days. They are not Free as such - you just don't have to renegotiate a fee each time you use it (unlike rights managed imagery).
You could try istockimages depending on what kind of thing you are looking for. And if your budget is in pence rather than pounds.
