Check the http://www.37svn.com gig board ... post on www.carbonmade.com and the other portfolio sites...
post on the aiga site...and tweak your portfolio by rotating 3 or 4 different pieces in and out so you jump to the top of the list that you updated...
definitely join linkedin and network with folks on here...and then start networking their connections...
