..in the words of The Hitchhiker's guide...Don't Panic. Aim to have a lean first year, set your stall out to try to do the kind of work you'd like to do...within reason and understanding everyone needs to make a living. You don't want to be percieved as a slave so bear this in mind, If you're polite and sensible to this end you'll get respect and a couple of years from now you should have respect and regular work that you like and get respect for.
