Thanks man - Photography is my passion.
One question: What are you going to be shooting and using the camera for?
I use the 20D for now - great solid camera (not full frame) but there are pros and cons to that.
The PowerShot S3 - I think if you are looking for a point and shoot it would be a good pick, cuz it has the better lens. Yet its downfall is its size. Not so portable... for that size you might want to look into the Canon Rebal

With point and shoot camera Size means a lot to me -- I need it to be small enough to carry with me all the time or it will sit at home on the shelf...
