hahaha... this place can be so useless... :D
I feel your pain, nowherehead... and it sucks. Really the only way to go about it is small claims court... or get yourself a good collector like sput said.
... one thing I was 'taught' to do by an old job was to call the client and say that you're in the neighborhood and you will be swinging by to pick up that check...
... works almost every time... but I always found that made for an awkward situation.
