What's the fucking point?
First off - the surge when everyone switches their shit back on will probably use more juice than it saves.Secondly - we're fucked anyway. If you think we can save the world from the effects of Man by turning out the lights, harnessing the wind, the sea, the sun - you are deluded. You'll NEVER influence the behaviours of all the governments, let alone billions of individuals.
We're far better off lighting up the coal power stations and working our asses off on developing the technology that will help us cope with this fact.
