wow... looks like some people have been stressing on this thread all weekend. Personally, I've never had to buy a font. The place I work for does a lot of science based work, and i can usually use something i already have, or a free font from someplace like dafont.com. If one of our clients demanded a certain font though, we'd have no problem billing them for it and then using it afterward. I don't do a lot of freelance, so it's never really come up there either. You should never HAVE to steal a font, there is always a workaround.
