Are you talking about research before the contract was officially signed also?

(Jun 14 07, 10:32)no. i never charge for that. i'm talking about possible research that might occur during the project which would help me with my layouts or construction.
if they ask for something extra or new, then yes i might charge extra as a scoping fee. i'm careful about how i list that though.
