i used to get very angry when i heard that someone took their own life...especially those with kids. i still feel that in a small way it's a cop-out and it devastates families, but i have also since learned that true, clinical depression is a medical problem that is very difficult to diagnose and control.
it's usually difficult for people (like me) who don't suffer from it to understand what they go through, but having learned what i have i can at least appreciate that i simply don't comprehend everything entailed and that i probably shouldn't judge so harshly.
